ScreenMap crawls your web or mobile app on its own, draws every screen it finds as a map, and marks what moved since the last run — before your users find it first.

What ScreenMap actually does

No flows to script. Point it at a URL, and the rest reads like a map legend — each symbol means one thing, consistently, run after run.

Origin

Where a crawl starts. ScreenMap navigates from here the way a person would — clicking, filling forms, following links — and keeps going until it stops finding new screens.

Screen

A distinct state of your app, saved with a full screenshot. /item/reviews and /item are different screens even on the same route, if what's on them differs.

Changed

A screen that looks or reads differently than it did last run. Flagged automatically, compared side by side — pixels and, where it matters, meaning.

Schedule

A crawl wired to a cron or a deploy webhook. Nobody has to remember to run it — the map just stays current.

Runner

What actually opens the browser and does the crawling. Use ours, or run a thin binary inside your own network — it connects out, so you never open an inbound port.

What one run looks like

start

Crawl

A browser explores your app, discovering screens as it goes.

n screens

Map

Each screen becomes a point on the graph, with its screenshot attached.

Δ vs last run

Compare

Every point is checked against the same point from the previous run.

done

Notify

Changes land in the app, a PR comment, or your own webhook.

Runs from our infrastructure, or yours.

Most teams just use ours — nothing to install, nothing to keep patched.

If your app sits behind a firewall, drop the runner binary inside your own network instead. It connects outbound to ScreenMap on its own token; you never grant inbound access, and it never sees your storage or model keys.
